Congress of the Italian Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics


The 2016 edition of the bi-annual congress of the Italian Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIMAI) will take place from the 13th to the 16th of September 2016, hosted by Politecnico di Milano.

The aim of the conference is: to bring together researchers and professionals from academia and industry who are active in the study of mathematical and numerical models as well as their application to industrial and in general real life problems; to stimulate interdisciplinary research in applied mathematics, and to foster interactions of the scientific community with industry.

PROGRAM ORGANIZATION
The program is organised in minisimposia, plenary lectures and special sessions.
The minisimposia aim to cover most of the many different applications of mathematics to industry, technology, environment, cultural heritage, biology and society. Minisimposia that gather both academic and industrial researchers are highly welcome.
We will also accept contributed talk and organize a poster session (indications will appear on the web site).
